"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" update 4.2 titled "Operation Skull Rain" is now live. The latest update contains a lot of improvements and adjustments to Twitch, Doc and Blackbeard.

As revealed in the official website, the latest update contains two BOPE operators. Caveira and Capitao will be new members of Team Rainbow. The team will endeavor to pacify the Favela, which is also the game's latest free map.

The team's mission will be to regain control over the Favela. With the two new operatives' tactical expertise, they will be navigating through the narrow streets and the high vantage points of this new map. The latest map will be free for all players.

Season Pass owners immediately have access to the new operators. They also get seven exclusive days. Other gamers will be able to unlock the latest team members with their Renown or R6 credits after the said exclusive period expires.

Furthermore, the update also gives players access to Skull Rain signature skins —Amazonia, Ceifador, Azulejos, the Piranha and Skull Rain. Players can get these weapon skins in the shop for "Operation Skull Rain."

The video game developer Ubisoft also revealed that they will be dedicating the third season of the game to improving its health. One of the programs that were implemented was the server-side FairFight anti-cheating engine with BattleEye.

Moreover, the creators stated, "To improve overall gameplay experience, we also enhanced an array of features. We created a dynamic body part clipping solution, which serves to prevent revealing the limbs of your Operators through walls."

Ubisoft took note of the gamers' concerns in working on this update. They developed a new attachment to create diverse play styles. The angle grip reportedly allows an aggressive and fast-paced style.

Moreover, a new mode called Tactical Realism was developed to develop better immersion and less reliance on in-game feedback. A surrender system is also in place. This allows players to cut the match short and move to a new one.

Another update is slated for release in October. According to sources, the update will have a Japanese theme.
