Ahead of its Fall premiere, "Quantico" continues to expand its cast lineup for the upcoming sophomore season. Three new actors are set to join the cast for recurring roles: David Lim, Aaron Diaz and Tracy Ifeachor.

Lim will play the role of Sebastian Chen, a "focused and confident future agent." He previously starred in other shows such as "Criminal Minds," "90210" and "Supergirl." Ifeachor is set as Lydia Bates, a "highly accomplished actuary" who will later on reveal some twists up her sleeve. Her acting credits include long-running BBC series "Doctor Who," The CW's "The Originals" and "Crossbones."

Telenovela star Diaz will portray a "thrill-seeking photojournalist" named León Velez, and he loves any kind of adventure that comes his way. Diaz made his American TV debut in ABC's "Pan Am" and recently starred in a Telemundo program titled "Tierra de Reyes."

Along with the three new recurring characters, three newbie series regulars have also been confirmed for season 2. South African actress Pearl Thusi joins the show as Dayana Mampasi, a determined and hard-hitting attorney who desperately tries to fit in. Blair Underwood will play the character of the "charming and direct" CIA officer Owen Hall whose personality will inspire any fledging operative he works with. Last month, Russell Tovey from "Looking" was cast as the mysterious character of Harry Doyle, who is a "cross between Thomas Crown and a grown-up Artful Dodger."

Compared to the fast-paced atmosphere of season 1, series creator Joshua Safran previously hinted that season 2 will be quite the opposite. He did not give further details about the main plot but this might mean that the show will delve deeper into the characters' stories. "Season 1 was this you're-on-the-run, fugitive thing, which is how it began, which is meant to be heart-pounding and fast, something that happened very quickly," he told TV Line. "We took our energy from that. Season 2 is structured a little bit slower. I'm not going to say what it is, but the nature of the event is slower and unfolding as opposed to explosive. We're just going to take our energy from that."
