'Quantico' season 2 spoilers: future episodes will stick to a single timeline

A major plot change will be implemented towards the end of "Quantico" season 2.
Showrunner Joshua Safran revealed in an interview with TVLine that they are planning to remove the dual timeline plot in the series.
"When we broke Season 2, we knew we were going to go to one timeline, because it's about the [terrorist] event, and then it's about what happens after the event. And you can't flashback to the Farm after the crisis is over," the showrunner stated in the interview.
Safran revealed that decision was made in response to the viewers' negative perception about the flashbacks during the show's first season.
The report claimed that the change in the timeline will be seen toward the end of season 2's episode 14.
Meanwhile, "Quantico" lead star Priyanka Chopra encountered an accident while filming one of the action sequences for an upcoming episode in season 2.
A representative from ABC told ET that the 34-year-old Indian actress was taken to a hospital Thursday, but was allowed to go home Friday to recuperate.
"We can confirm that there was a minor incident on the New York set of Quantico last night and that it would be premature to comment further until we have all the information," the network rep stated. "Priyanka was examined by a doctor, released and is home resting comfortably."
Chopra was reportedly filming a stunt for her role as Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recruit Alex Parrish with one of the guest stars for an upcoming episode of "Quantico" season 2 when she accidentally slipped and hit her head on the ground, which caused her a concussion. The actress is expected to take a break from filming for a while until she receives a clean bill of health from her doctors before returning to the set.
"Quantico" season 2 will resume after its winter break on Monday, Jan. 23.
