'Quantico' season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Alex remembers Simon's sacrifice for her, Lydia fights Alex in the future
The trainees take on drone strikes, eventually triggering memories of Simon's (Tate Ellington) sacrifice for Alex (Priyanka Chopra) in the upcoming episode of ABC's action drama "Quantico" season 2.
Titled "Aquiline," next week's episode will see Alex remember important events from the past. According to the official synopsis for episode 6, the trainees at the Farm continue improving their skills, and their next task is to decide on a drone strike. The activity leads Alex to remember Simon's sacrifice in the past to save her life.
It won't just be the agents who will get into some trouble, as Shelby (Johanna Braddy) will be involved in a forbidden romance.She and Leon (Aaron Diaz) will take their relationship to new heights, but it remains to be seen how long they can keep their relationship a secret. Meanwhile, Nimah (Yasmine Al Massri) advises Alex and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) not to put their trust on Harry (Russell Tovey).The MI-6 agent will stop at nothing to get some information from the duo, but it seems that he will just have to get intel from someone else. In the future, Alex doubts if she can still trust Lydia (Tracy Ifeachor) which leads to an intense confrontation between them.
For the uninitiated, all titles of season 2 episodes are CIA cryptonyms. Back in the early 1960s, "Aquiline" became known as an aerial reconnaissance program. It reportedly focused on drones, which makes sense with the field agents' new lesson this coming week.
In a previous interview, Braddy hinted that Shelby's new relationship will be more mature compared to when she was still with Caleb. "There's definitely a new romance, yes, and it's a completely different type of relationship than Caleb," the actress stated. "It's very different. It's not so youthful."
