PS Plus September 2016 free games list news: PlayStation Plus free games Sept 2016 line-up revealed

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now have their fill of free games, as Sony recently revealed the September 2016 line-up. This month's PlayStation Plus free games list includes "Lords of the Fallen," "Journey," "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands," "Datura," "Badland," and "Amnesia: Memories." All games will be available for download starting on Sept. 6.
Thatgamecompany's critically acclaimed indie video game "Journey" will be available for PS4 and PS3 consoles. The game's main character traverses various obstacles as he goes around the world. With the game's visuals, soundtrack and unique story, "Journey" has been dubbed as the most beautiful game in recent history.
The popular action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and CI Games "Lords of the Fallen" will be available for PS4 consoles. Players portray the main character, Harkyn, who seeks redemption for past sins and mediates a war between humans and gods.
Ubisoft's action-adventure video game "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands" will be available on PS3 consoles. This title succeeds the storyline previously established in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time."
The critically acclaimed action-adventure mobile video game developed by Frogmind Games "Badland" will be available for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita consoles. The game was released in 2014 for the Windows Phone 8 but it also launched a Game of the Year edition for various video game consoles.
Idea Factory's "Amnesia: Memories" will be available for PS Vita consoles. In the game, players portray a character who lost her memories. To find out the reason behind the amnesia, players need to choose among five romantic paths. The game has 20 alternate endings.
On the other hand, Sony Computer Entertainment's first-person action game "Datura" will be available for PS3 consoles. The game is set in an eerie forest wherein players can interact with their surroundings and other characters in the game.
Previously, Sony announced that a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership will change from $49.99 to $59.99. For a three-month membership, the price will change from $16.99 to $24.99. The new prices will take effect on Tuesday, Sept. 22. On the other hand, monthly plans will remain the same at $9.99.
Sony also reminded members who wish to cancel their subscriptions to turn off the auto-renewal setting in their accounts before Sept 22.
