PS Plus May 2016 free games predictions update: More AAA titles for gamers?

May is just around the corner, and it's definitely that time of the month where gamers expect new titles in the PlayStation Plus free games lineup. Sony's free games this month fell short on the fans' expectations with only a few AAA titles, compared to competitor Xbox's AAA-studded roster for April.
However, it seems that the company has heard the people's request and they might be releasing a number of AAA titles to spike up the public's interest once more. PlayStation does not usually give details until the day they release the games itself, and all fans could do now is speculate. Reports say that PS gamers discuss in forums about some indie games making the cut, including Shovel Knight for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, or PlayStation 3 along with fan-favorite Metal Slug 3.
Additionally, This Gen Gaming gave AAA game predictions for Sony's latest free offerings for active PS Plus subscribers. Included in the line-up is "Assassin's Creed," which was also included once in the Xbox Games with Gold line-up. A launch game on the roster might be a wise move for the company, so the media outlet suggests "Killzone Shadow Fall." The company usually puts mutiplayer games in PS Plus every month, and it serves as a good fit for that category. Another game expected in the line-up is "Dishonored Definitive Edition," which is a remaster of a last gen game. What makes it a possible option for the roster is that it has been priced low for quite some time now, and it wouldn't be surprising if it indeed makes the cut. The line-up would not be complete without a horror game, and that is when "The Evil Within" comes into the picture. Not much gamers has played "God of War Remastered" yet, making it a probable choice as well.
However, it is important to note that most of the above-mentioned titles are just speculations and must be taken with a grain of salt. Based on previous releases, Sony might announce the final roster sometime next week.
