PS Plus Free Games for August 2016 rumors: 'Gran Turismo,' 'God of War' among possible choices

The month of July has barely passed but as early of now, the players begin speculating about the free games for the month of August via PS Plus. Gamers will have the chance to play some of today's exciting game titles as long as they are subscribed to PS Plus. It is expected that there is still no confirmed list of free video games for next month, although some game titles are being suggested to be a part of that list.
According to the latest report from The Bitbag, "Yakuza 5" is among the possible game titles that are going to be released as free games next month. It can be recalled that "Yakuza 5" was once included in the list of free games for the month of July in the PlayStation Store. Its appearance in the list actually caught many players by surprise as no prior reports suggested "Yakuza 5" to be a free game this month.
"Yakuza 5" was not even a part of the initial list of free games from the PlayStation Store, being listed along with other freebies for July excluding "The Fat Princess" video game, which was already announced as a free game. Eventually, the game was removed from July's list.
The rumors are rife that August would officially have "Yakuza 5" as part of the list of free games via PS Plus, as the online publication speculated that many have already downloaded the game when it was still present on the PlayStation Store.
Aside from the Japanese-themed action shooter video game, PS Plus free games for August might also feature other classic PlayStation game titles like "Gran Turismo" and "God of War." However, everything remains to be up in the air at this point as there are still a couple of days left for July, and Sony may include other games instead. Recent PS4 exclusive video games such as "Bloodborne" and "Infamous Second Son" may also surprise the players next month, as Sony has already released other exclusive game titles in the past.
