'Prison Break' season 5 spoilers: Revival series to premiere spring 2017; Michael to get back with Sara?

The revival season of Fox's hit action drama "Prison Break" is one of the most-anticipated series to premiere next year. After years of hiatus, season 5 will come back to the small screen with more action-packed episodes and a riveting storyline featuring Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) as he faces more challenges.
One of the main story arcs fans are longing to see is Michael's relationship with his former wife Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies). In an interview, Miller hinted that things will be very different when he returns to her life. Sara is now married to another man who helps her raise the child Michael had fathered. However, the actor mentioned that there is still a possibility that the estranged couple will get back together.
"She's married. She's moved on. She's raising our son," he explained. "There is [still] a connection. That's never going away. Sara has moved on with her life to the best of her abilities. Michael, in a way, has not. He's been elsewhere for seven years ... but Sara is still his emotional bullseye."
Season 5 will pick up with Michael surviving the final events of the last season. Later, he mysteriously winds up in a prison in Yemen where he will deal with ISIS and ISA terrorists. Dominic Purcell, who portrays Michael's brother Lincoln Burrows in the series, explained the plot for the upcoming season during an interview with Deadline. "He ended up working for this organization," he said. "It got to the point where he couldn't do it anymore, and they threw him in a jail in Yemen to change his mind. He didn't change his mind, they set him up..."
"Prison Break" season 5 premieres spring 2017 on Fox, but the network has yet to announce a definitive release date.
