'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 spoilers, news: EP hints multiple weddings; Paige to get in between Alison and Emily?

The summer finale of "Pretty Little Liars" left fans with a lot of shocking plot twists, along with the announcement that season 7 will mark the mystery drama's end. Details about the upcoming episodes remain under wraps but as previously hinted, the unexpected events in the previous episode are just the tip of the iceberg.

The first half of season 7 left off with Spencer fighting for her life and the revelation that she is Mary Drake's secret baby. Alison confessed to Emily that she is pregnant with Archer's child and the two PLLs ended up making out, further complicating Emily's other relationships. Aria's wedding with Ezra might no longer happen after he lied about his trip while Hanna is still on the run after she kidnapped Noel Khan.

Spencer may or may not be dead but if she ever recovers, there are speculations that she and Toby might get back together. Emily and Alison's intimate moment in the finale drew mixed reactions from fans but TV Line speculates that there will be justice for Emily's ex-girlfriend Paige. After years of being away from Rosewood, Paige recently returned home to take on a job as a swimming coach where she reconnects with her former girlfriend. With "Emison" back in the story, will Paige still have a chance with Emily? Executive producer Marlene King confirmed that Paige is "not gone for good," which means a love triangle involving her and the two PLLs is not far from happening.

As for the characters who will be tying the knot in season 7B, King previously hinted that there will be "more than one wedding" coming up. Rumor has it that aside from Ezra and Aria, Hanna's mom Ashley and Pastor Ted will also get their happily ever after.

Freeform has yet to announce the return date for "Pretty Little Liars" season 7.
