'Pretty Little Liars' season 7 air date, news, spoilers: Cast members get emotional during last day of filming

After seven years of mysteries, romance, drama and shocking plot twists, "Pretty Little Liars" cast members finally said goodbye.
Although the series has yet to air its final 10 episodes, filming for the farewell season came to an end last Wednesday. Since the series became a huge social media sensation, the cast members turned to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to say goodbye to fans, crew members and the rest of their co-stars.
In a Twitter post, Shay Mitchell expressed how difficult it was for her to cope with the program's end. "Can't... stop... crying. I know I need to celebrate this amazing show and not mourn it- but that just seems too hard right now.," she wrote. Aside from saying goodbye to her on-screen dad Chad Lowe and series creator I. Marlene King, Lucy Hale also paid tribute to her character, Aria. "From the first episode (this photo) until now ... goodbye Aria. You became a huge part of my life and a part of my identity in a way. I'll miss you , your wacky wardrobe, your ability to do anything for love and your friends. Forever in my heart!!" the actress posted via Instagram along with a throwback photo of Aria from season 1.
Meanwhile, Spoby fans were touched by Keegan Allen's message to his on-screen love, Troian Bellisario. In a lengthy post, Allen described his "great love" for Bellisario and expressed how grateful he was to work with the actress. Additionally, Allen mentioned that he will continue to look up to her as an actor. Earlier this week, he also shared a video of him and Bellisario sharing an emotional hug via Twitter, with the caption "goodbyes are only hellos to something new."
