'Preacher' episode 3 spoilers news: Tulip asks Jesse's help for revenge, Jesse discovers more about his newfound power
AMC's dark rookie series "Preacher" recently kicked off its first season, and with only two episodes in, the show seems to be drawing more viewers every week.
To recap, the show's previous episode saw Jesse Cutler talking to Cassidy, who does not seem to buy the idea that God has much better plans in store for the preacher. Cassidy also opened up to Jesse about his true identity of being a hundred-year-old vampire who is trying to flee from vampire hunter, but Jesse laughs as if Cassidy was just kidding. Adelphi angels Fiore and DeBlanc sneaked into the church to take Genesis away from Jesse's body but Cassidy arrived in time to kill the duo.
This coming Sunday's episode will see Jesse trying to discover more about his newfound abilities with the aid of his friend Cassidy. As seen in the promo clip for episode 3 titled "The Possibilities," Jesse will try to take more control of his new power, and Cassidy will give him several ideas on how he can use it. Being a man of God, Jesse would like to use it for the good of mankind only. The clip hints that he heads out to stop ordinary individuals from doing bad deeds, while his other friend Tulip is still seeking for revenge. New information will compel Tulip to ask Jesse's help as she puts justice in her own hands. Meanwhile, the two men who Cassidy killed in the previous episode turned out to be alive, and they are still hunting down Jesse for his power.
