'Power' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Creator hints at deaths this season; Ghost and Tommy reunite in episode 6

Following the shocking death of one character, tensions will continue to escalate in the upcoming episode of Starz's most-watched series "Power" season 3.

To recap, last Sunday's episode saw Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) in a fit of rage â€” choking his girlfriend Holly Weaver (Lucy Walters) after finding out that she hired the Jamaican men to murder his former best friend James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick). The violent episode wrapped up with Ghost arriving at the scene and helping Tommy handle the situation.

Speaking with Deadline, series creator Courtney Kemp confirmed that Holly's death is only the tip of the iceberg. More major characters will definitely pay the ultimate price before the third season comes to a close. Despite being dead, Holly's story is far from over because Tommy will have to keep his dark secret for as long as he can. He still doesn't know that Holly is pregnant with his child but once he figures it out, Tommy might find someone to blame and probably kill again.

When Tommy realized how much damage he has done, Walters hinted that he will definitely struggle with accepting the truth. "The blowback from that is going to be really long and really hard," the actress told TV Line. "Say what you will about these two people, but what they had was actually real. Yes, they are two very complicated and very broken people, but it was a real love."

Next week's episode will see the show's two estranged drug kingpin partners reunite to confront a common enemy. According to the official synopsis for the episode titled "The Right Decision," Tommy and Ghost will meet again to stop Felipe once and for all. In an attempt to avoid being detected by Angela and the rest of her team, the duo will ask help from Ghost's ex-wife Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton). Later in the episode, Ghost loses control during a critical moment.

New episodes of "Power" season 3 air every Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on Starz.
