The first few episodes of "Poldark" season 2 will bring more drama, and George (Jack Farthing) will continue to find ways to torment Ross (Aidan Turner) in the show's upcoming episode 5.

Since the series began airing its second season, fans have noticed that some plot movements were quite predictable. For instance, viewers already know that Caroline (Gabriella Wilde) has been interested in Dwight (Luke Norris) for a long time now. It also does not come as a shock for the audience to see how George always finds new means to test Ross' patience.

According to the official synopsis for episode 5, an informant in the smuggling business will enter the picture and pose a serious threat to everyone involved while George buys Ross' debt to torment him yet again. Caroline comes back to Cornwall for an important announcement, but it will later be revealed that it is Elizabeth (Heida Reed) who reveals a huge secret.

After all that he's been going through, Ross still finds himself unsure of where he stands with both his current flame Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) and his first love Elizabeth. In a recent sit-down interview with Collider, Turner explained the different dynamic Ross has with the two significant women in his life. According to the actor, Ross' relationships with Demelza and Elizabeth are very different. Although he is now with Demelza, he still takes "comfort and consolation" in Elizabeth, which confuses Ross at times.

"I think the relationship with Demelza has changed," he said. "It seems to go through this meandering journey with their relationship, all the time. By the end of [Season] 2, they've been together for years. It's probably been six years or something. I do think he genuinely loves Demelza, if he can even contemplate or begin to understand what love is, for himself. It's such a tricky one."

The second season of "Poldark" airs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. EST on PBS.
