'Pokémon Sun' and 'Pokémon Moon' release date rumors latest: Official footage available in April; game will release during Holiday 2016?

"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" have been gaining so much attention after its publisher, The Pokémon Company, announced its development.

According to the latest report, a popular Japanese TV show, "Gathering at the Pokémon House," will feature the initial gameplay footage of the 3DS games. The show is said to air on Sunday, April 3.

The show will be used by some personalities from The Pokémon Company such as Junichi Masuda, the director of the Pokémon franchise, Shigeki Morimoto, the battle director of the game, Shigeru Ohmori, director of " Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." Reports suggest that the show will allow these Pokémon geniuses to reveal game details of the upcoming "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" titles. Fans can also expect the first action footage of the game, which will be aired in the middle of the show.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet regarding how much will be revealed during the show, fans and critics believe that the video footage will focus on the main characters of the titles, as well as game elements and mechanics. There are also speculations that the publisher will reveal the three Pokémon options that gamers can pick at the start of the game.

Ever since the company announced the "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," no official footage of the game has been revealed. Fans are certainly excited to finally have a glimpse of what they are going to expect once the games hit the shelves.

"Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" was announced at the franchise's 20th-anniversary celebration in February.

As of the moment, there is still no release date details provided by both its publisher and developer; however, fans believe that the company might be planning for a big late 2016 release. Rumor has it that the company is going for a Holiday 2016 roll out.
