'Pokemon Sun and Moon' release date, news, updates: Game arriving in November; New starter Pokemons revealed

It was revealed earlier this year by The Pokemon Company that they are planning to release a new Pokemon handheld game this year in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the successful video game franchise. This month, it was already marked in stone that the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will definitely arrive in November, and to further entice the Pokemon game fans, the new starters Pokemons in the game were officially unveiled to the public.

Using the group's official Facebook page, The Pokemon Company finally revealed some of the new starter Pokemons the fans will come to know in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The new Pokemons look very charming but looks can be deceiving as these starter Pokemons have some efficient combat tricks up their sleeves. The new starter Pokemons include Rowlet, Litten and Popplio.

For starters, Rowlet is a grass quill type of Pokemon that is around 1 inch in maximum height and weighs about 3.3 lbs. Meanwhile, Litten is a Fire cast Pokemon that has some firey tactics on its disposal. Litten has the ability to shoot fireballs coming from its hairballs that are going to deal some serious damage to its opponent.

Last but not the least, Popplio is a new kind of sea lion Pokemon which is quite heavy at 16.5 lbs. The special thing about this unique sea lion Pokemon is that it can transform simple water balloons into powerful assault weapons during a battle. Popplio is just one of the interesting and useful Pokemons which the players can choose as their preferred companion in a long but exciting adventure down the road.

The Verge reported the arrival of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" in the North American continent on November 8, along with a brand new trailer that teases some of the exciting new features in the upcoming game sporting a 3DS format. However, the trailer shows a similar environment of the previous Pokemon games which the long-time players can easily be familiar with.
