'Pokemon GO' release date, news, update, rumors: Game to release in July

Many fans have been waiting for Niantic and The Pokemon Company to announce the release date of the much-anticipated mobile AR gaming app based on the popular "Pokemon" handheld games. It is expected that "Pokemon GO" will be released sometime this year, although it was not until the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 event that the specific period of launching was revealed, which will be sometime in July.
There were already some speculations that Niantic will be able to release the gaming app earlier than expected. In fact, News Everyday reported that the final version of "Pokemon GO" might be released as early as this month. However, it turns out that the mobile game developer company would need another month to finalize the contents of "Pokemon GO." To note, Niantic has already conducted beta tests in various places in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Just recently, the company also responsible for the famous AR game "Ingress" has also brought the beta test rounds to the United States.
Yibada reported the presentation of Niantic in front of the participants of E3 this year, revealing that the much awaited mobile phone game will be available next month, although the exact date of launching is not stated. Aside from the "Pokemon GO" release date announcement, Niantic also unveiled the Pokemon GO Plus wristband that will provide more exciting and real-life Pokemon trainer experience for the players.
Lastly, the fans of the previous Pokemon games will be delighted as "Pokemon GO" is expected to feature Pokemons from different Pokemon game titles. As reported by The Verge, "Pokemon GO" will include 100 Pokemons from "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue" handheld games. However, it is not confirmed which Pokemons from the previous games will be joining the new batch of Pokemons in the mobile game. "Pokemon GO" will let the players choose among Team Red, Team Blue and Team Yellow, in which they will start their journey in different areas such as the gyms, headquarters and fields along with their Pokemons of choice.
