'Pokemon Go' cheats, tips & tricks: Best Buddy Pokemon to choose
Niantic Labs recently introduced the new buddy system for "Pokemon Go," which players can actually take advantage of by choosing the right Pokemon.
The buddy system allows players to be accompanied by their favorite pocket monster. Walking with them for a specific duration will earn players some candies.
It turns out that the new buddy Pokemon system will actually help players in evolving their Pokemon and collect experience points (XP).
As per Pokemon Go Hub, Charmeleon is the best buddy Pokemon to go for with its value of 163. For a kilometer walk with the creature, players will get two candies.
Players will need 100 candies to evolve Charmeleon to Charizard, who is almost impossible to come across. Having Charmeleon as buddy Pokemon will definitely help.
Next on the list is Grimer with a value of 110. "Pokemon Go" trainers only need 50 candies to evolve it to Muk, which means players will need to walk 25kms.
The next Pokemon that "Pokemon Go" players would want to have as a buddy is Dragonair with a 109 value. Every kilometer walk the creature will give players 3 candies, which will help them collect 100 for Dragonite.
"Pokemon Go" players can also opt for Kadabra, who will make a great buddy for its 71 value. Just like the first two, trainers can get a couple of candies for a kilometer walk. In time, players should evolve him to Alakazam.
The fifth buddy Pokemon to choose is Wartortle. With a value of 53 and the same candy rate on the kilometer walk, getting it to evolve as Blastoise just got easier.

In addition to all this, Forbes says that buddy system is also great for earning XP, and of course it gives the players the chance to bond with their favorite Pokemon.
