'Pokemon Go' characters, Pokestops updates news: Future game updates to add new Pokemon, customizable Pokestops

Niantic has made history with the release of the mobile gaming app "Pokemon Go" this month. It suddenly became the most downloaded gaming app in Google Play and the Apple Store, not to mention millions of players that are easily hooked up by the latest augmented reality (AR) gaming app. It gave players the opportunity to collect their own Pokemon by roaming around the vicinity of their area like a real Pokemon trainer. The good news is that more contents are expected in the future with upcoming game updates.
Mobile app developers at Niantic are reported to be planning more exciting features to add in "Pokemon Go," most especially the new batch and next generation Pokemon and a set of customizable Pokestops for the adventurous Pokemon trainers.
It was revealed by Niantic founder himself, John Hanke, during the "Pokemon Go" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con last Friday that the players can expect more cool stuff hitting the mobile app in the coming weeks. Hanke revealed that Niantic is planning to introduce a new batch of second generation of Pokemon characters in "Pokemon Go." As of the mean time, the "Pokemon Go" players can meet and catch the original 151 Pokemon, but the next update is expected to introduce the new ones.
It is also very noticeable that the San Diego Comic Con arranged the "Pokemon Go" game panel at San Diego convention hall's biggest venue Hall H, a proof that the game has garnered a huge volume of followers in the United States since the game hit the digital stores early in July, The Verge reported.
Another feature that might make it in the next "Pokemon Go" update is Pokemon breeding, although Hanke said that it is something that the Niantic are still discussing whether they should include it in the game or not. The other possible addition to the game is the customizable Pokestop, where the players will be allowed to enhance or change the functions of a particular Pokestop, possibly turning it into a healing center.
