PlayStation Plus May 2016 free games list news: Free games for May confirmed

Sony has already announced the games that will be available for free in the month of May to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. The company usually releases the lineup during the last week of each month, which then gives all PlayStation Plus subscribers the opportunity to download the games that are being offered for free. This amazing offering is part of the subscribers' monthly subscription.

The lineup which includes "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2", which was originally released for PlayStation 3, "God of War: Ghost of Sparta", which was released for PlayStation Vita, "LocoRoco Cocoreccho!", released for PlayStation 3, "Switch Galaxy Ultra", which was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, "Table Top Racing: World Tour", which was released for PlayStation 4 and "Tropico 5", which was also released for PlayStation 4.

The list is also posted on the PlayStation blog on Apr. 27, in which the company said they are excited about next month's offering.

"Our team is thrilled to present your free PS Plus games for May on PS4! Satisfy your desire to be the dictator you always wanted to be, or challenge your friends to relentless combat races in next month's lineup."

The first game in next month's line up is "Tropico 5", a semi-democratic construction and management simulation video game. It was developed by Haemimont Games and was released in May 2014 for PlayStation 4. The game gives players the opportunity to play as El Presidente, a long-running virtual dictator, and take control of the infamous island of Tropico.

Next up is the racing video game called "Table Top Racing: World Tour". The game was developed by Playrise Digital and Nick Burcombe, who was also the co-creator of the popular classic video game "Wipeout."

Meanwhile, Microsoft already announced the list of free games for Xbox owners through the Xbox Live Games With Gold program. Just like Sony's PlayStation plus players, Xbox Live Gold members are also given the opportunity to download free games as part of their monthly subscription.
