However, the game is reported to be included in the April 2016 lineup of free PS Plus games, resulting in Sony refunding the full amount. As an additional bonus, the person got a free "Dead Star" theme. The message from PS reads: "Thank you for your recent pre-order of Dead Star for PlayStation 4. We're excited to announce that 'Dead Star' will be a free game for PlayStation Plus members in April. As such, we are refunding the full amount of your pre-order. As an added bonus, the Dead Star theme you received will remain yours. Thanks again for your support, we hope you enjoy Dead Star in April!"
"Dead Star" is expected to be released for PS4 on April 5, as noted by the video game's PlayStation Store page. as of now, no updates has been released on other games that will be a part of the PS Plus free games roster this April.
With Microsoft as its closest rival in the console platform, Sony will have to step up its game and include more A-list PS Plus free titles if it wants to appear "respectable" when Xbox showcases its lineup next month.
