PlayStation Neo release date and specs rumors: Device to be released between October and December?

There have been numerous talks with regard to Sony's next generation of gaming consoles. There are speculations suggesting that it will be called PlayStation Neo, PlayStation 4K or PlayStation 4.5. However, the Japanese tech company has yet to provide the official details of the rumored new console. According to the latest buzz, the PlayStation Neo will come out in the last quarter of 2016.

According to Neurogadget, Sony is planning for a big release of the upgraded console later this year. The publication added that the upcoming device is going to have 4K support and has the ability to run video games at 60 frames per second. If rumors prove to be true, this new device will certainly give players the chance to enjoy games with more clear and improve graphics.

There are also rumors suggesting that the console could run on a Zen CPU cores. There have been reports saying that Sony is allegedly using cheaper hardware in producing the upcoming console.

Previous report coming from Innelec Multimedia suggests that the PlayStation Neo could be launched by Sony in the first half of the fiscal year. Apparently, the French video game distributor leaked the information during one of its press releases. However, the multimedia company later denied the rumor but fans have reasons to believe that the leaked details are true.

There are also reports saying that AMD is currently helping a company to develop a new console, which fans believe is the PlayStation Neo.

If the PlayStation Neo or 4K is currently in the works, there is a big possibility that the rumored 2016 release could happen. However, the company has yet to provide significant information with regard to the new console.

As of the moment, fans will have to wait for the company to release a statement with regard to its development and release. Most of the details about the device over the internet are merely just rumors and speculations.
