PlayStation 4.5 release date and specs rumors: Device's display technology is four times than the current PlayStation 4?

Fans have been treated lately with numerous rumors about the development of new consoles from PlayStation 4.5 and PlayStation 5 to Xbox Two and Nintendo NX. However, the companies involved have yet to confirm the rumors. They have chosen to keep their silence until they have something relevant to say. Nevertheless, the upcoming PlayStation 4.5 has continued to become a subject of many online forums, which only shows the interest of the gaming community with regard to releasing new consoles.
The current PlayStation 4 was released almost three years ago; yet, the interest of the fans for PlayStation 4.5 is increasing. Sony may have noticed it a long time ago since there have already been reports that the company is currently developing the upcoming PlayStation 4.5 or also known as PlayStation 4K.
Rumor has it that the upcoming device will have an impressive resolution, which is said to be four times than the standard 1080p of the current PlayStation 4. There are also speculations suggesting that Sony is developing the device with a powerful GPU, which is said to be capable of handling the 4K Blu-ray player. If rumors prove to be true, this new console is going to change the whole face of the gaming industry, along with the company's current project, PlayStation VR.
Meanwhile, Reports have surfaced online suggesting that PlayStation 4.5 will come out in the first quarter of 2017 and it will be priced at $499.99. Previous reports suggest that the console's CPU will be twice as powerful as the current PlayStation device. Rumor has it that the next line of the PlayStation series will be slimmer and lighter than the current one in the market.
As of the moment, nothing has been confirmed yet by Sony regarding the development of PlayStation 4.5, much less its release. However, fans believe that Sony will announce it later this year.
