PlayStation 4 Neo release date 2016: To arrive in September? Sony's console faces competition with Xbox One S
The anticipation for the upcoming PlayStation 4 Neo continues but fans are currently in the dark as they have no idea when exactly the console will be released.
There has been much speculation surrounding the console's release, with reports suggesting that Sony might unveil the gaming system at Tokyo Game Show this September.

As noted by PC Advisor, players have much to anticipate regarding the console especially on the technical side.
To improve performance, the PlayStation Neo is expected to have higher clock speed than the current PlayStation 4 console. Aside from that, an improved graphics card is also set to help users enjoy the game.
Looking at the Neo's central processing unit, it will house eight Jaguar CPU cores in 2.1GHz which should help make the console respond in lightning speed.
As for the console's memory, the upcoming PlayStation 4 Neo will have a GDDR5 memory at 8GB capacity running at 218 GB/s rather than the normal 176 GB/s.
The console's physical memory is also expected to change, but there is still speculation whether the model will have a bigger capacity or just a faster connection and read speed.
These should be very nice things to anticipate as the battle between consoles is getting tighter. Microsoft recently revealed the Xbox One S, which is said to be the direct competitor of the PlayStation 4 Neo.
However, there are rumors claiming that the Xbox One S will release before the PlayStation 4 Neo, which means Sony should ensure that their upcoming console is up to par and possibly better than Microsoft's offering so that people will have enough reason to wait for Sony's console instead of buying Microsoft's device.
Expect more news on the Sony PlayStation 4 Neo in the coming days and even watch out for updates on the Microsoft Xbox One S as their releases come closer.
