Planned Parenthood launches ad campaign against Trump

Planned Parenthood teamed up with Priorities Action USA to launch a seven-figure advertising campaign targeting Donald Trump's pro-life platform.
The abortion facility is reportedly planning to spend more than one million dollars for the advertisement which will start running this week on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. It will be aimed at voters in North Carolina, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
The advertisement will attack Trump for his proposal to overturn Roe v. Wade and defund Planned Parenthood.
Politico reported that in one segment, Trump was shown telling MSNBC's Chris Matthews that women should be punished for having abortions. The segment was accompanied by a text that said, "When it comes to health, politicians shouldn't make decisions for us."
It also showed a clip of Trump talking about his conversion to the pro-life camp. The advertisement concluded with the statement, "Donald Trump is too dangerous for women."
Deirdre Schifeling, the executive director of Planned Parenthood Votes, has previously stated that the Trump-Pence ticket is "the most anti-woman ticket we've seen in decades."
"Donald Trump would ban abortion, defund Planned Parenthood, and even make it more difficult to access birth control. His running mate Mike Pence has been on a personal crusade to end women's access to basic health care for a decade — putting countless women at risk in his home state of Indiana and nationwide," Schifeling said in a statement.
"Planned Parenthood Votes will not rest until every eligible voter knows just how dangerous Trump and Pence would be for this country," she continued.
During his campaign, Trump has made several comittments to pro-life voters. Aside from defunding Planned Parenthood, he also vowed to sign a law that banned late-term abortions. He also promised to make the Hyde Amendment, which prohibited federal funding for abortion, into a permanent law.
Trump also vowed to nominate a pro-life Supreme Court justices if he is elected. He recently added a pro-life coalition into his campaign which is chaired by Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List.
