'Persona 5' release date, news & update: RPG gets delayed; new worldwide release schedule pushed back for two months

The much-awaited worldwide release of the role-playing game from Japan "Persona 5," unfortunately, gets delayed for two more months.
In a statement posted through Sony PlayStation's official blog, developer Atlus said, "I know, I know. It stings. But Persona 5 set the gold standard for Atlus with its launch in Japan, and we wanted to put the utmost care into ensuring it winds up the best when it launches in the west."
However, to make up for the two-month delay, Atlus subsequently announced in the same blog post that the worldwide release of "Persona 5" will include a dual-audio feature for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
The dual-audio feature is included — prepacked — as a free downloadable content (DLC) "for forever." Atlus added, "People have been asking for this since P5 was announced, and through herculean effort from just about every division of Atlus, we managed to arrange this."
Atlus also confirmed that it will be present in the upcoming PlayStation Experience in Anaheim complete with a playable demo of "Persona 5." The developer also teased that a set of "Persona 5" collector's card will be available at their booth in the said event.
The blog post continues with more surprises as Atlus also announced that players who preordered the "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition of "Persona 5" will also get an updated soundtrack CD featuring the twin wardens of the Velvet Room, Justine and Caroline. Atlus adds, "The artbook and SteelBook are updated as well, and you can even see the final art of the box it all ships in."
"Persona 5" is a role-playing video game that has been released in Japan last Sept. 15. The game is set in Tokyo and mainly features a silent protagonist who was put on probation for assaulting a stalker after their transfer to Shujin High School, a fictional institution. The game story climaxes when the protagonists, later on in the school year, discover their supernatural side and Persona powers.
The new release date of "Persona 5" outside Japan is set on April 4, 2017.
