"Persona 5" release date and plot rumors: Will Altus opt for a late summer release of the game?

The much-anticipated 4th sequel of the "Persona" series does not have a specific release date, but a lot of rumors suggest that the game may get rolled out sooner than expected.
Although the game has already been confirmed by Naoto Hirakoa, Altus CEO, during his interview earlier this year, the company still has not provided specific details regarding its release.
Hirakoa announced that the launching of "Persona 5" could happen in the summer of this year. The month of May is the start of summer season in Japan; does it mean that the company is already preparing for a big announcement that will be followed by a game release?
There are speculations suggesting that the next title may not get released until the end of July. According to reports Altus may take their time polishing the game and decide for a late summer release. It only makes sense because the company may probably need more time; hence, the silence leading to its official roll out.
Unfortunately for other locations outside Japan including countries from North America and Europe, gamers may not get to play "Persona 5" until next year. History suggests that Japan normally gets the game a few months before other countries do.
Meanwhile, rumored plot of the game includes new dungeons and new levels. There are also reports saying that characters from previous installments will also be featured in the new title such as Aigis, Chie Satonaka, Yu Narukame and Naoto Shirogane.
"Persona 5" is said to feature a Social Link system that enables characters to connect with each other during the game. There are also rumors that more advanced features will be included in the 4th sequel.
The game is expected to come out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. As of now, no further details have been confirmed. Most of the information provided are just speculations and rumors.
