'Persona 5' release date and gameplay rumors: New 'personas' announced; Western release date to be announced at E3?

The upcoming role-playing video game "Persona 5" has already been set for release this year on Sept. 15, 2016, in Japan. However, there are still no reports as to when will the game be released in the United States. There are speculations suggesting that game developer and publisher Atlus may announce a possible western rollout date of the game title at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016.

According to IGN , it was announced by Atlus that they will be releasing new details about the highly anticipated game at the annual event. There are reports saying that Atlus may reveal another video teaser at the event while fans are positive that the company will finally divulge release date details.

There have been numerous speculations circulating all over the Internet suggesting that the game developer may move the launching of the game next year. According to reports, the company may have decided to release the game in 2017, along with PlayStation 4 Neo. Some video game observers are saying that the company may release the "Persona 5" in the US later this year.

Nonetheless, these reports have yet to be confirmed by Atlus. What fans know as of the moment is that the game will definitely be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Meanwhile, "Persona" summons have already been announced over the Internet. According to reports these summons are for the upcoming game's new characters such as Niisshima, Makoto, Haru Okumura and Futaba Sakura.

In the report, Pope Joan will be Makoto's persona. She is said to be the first female Pope and the leader of the church during the medieval period.

According to RPGFan, Milady is Haru Okumura's persona. According to the publication, she carries powerful weapons and her name is said to be from the Three Musketeers.

It will certainly be interesting how fans will receive the game once it hits the market. As of the moment, what fans can do is wait for more details about the upcoming title.
