BBC's thrilling gangster drama "Peaky Blinders" still has yet to begin filming for the upcoming fourth season, but fans are already itching to see what happens after the huge cliffhanger in season 3. Most members of the Shelby clan were arrested and although they felt betrayed by mob boss Tommy, lead actor Cillian Murphy hints his character has bigger plans in store for his family.

Season 3 left off with Tommy warning his family when the police were on their way to arrest them. Polly, Michael, Arthur, and John were led away to jail cells while Tommy was not implicated. This led to a friction between the characters because it seemed Tommy let his family take the fall for the crimes he was also involved in.

"Everything has changed," Murphy said in an interview. "I think his family think[s] that he's betrayed them. It'll be up to Tommy to demonstrate to them that he hasn't betrayed them and that he has a bigger plan. The question is what that bigger plan is. Who is he gonna call? What's gonna happen to the family? Can he ever get that level of trust or love back again?"

There are speculations that Aunt Polly's long-lost son Michael will come to blows with Tommy. Although he is younger and clearly inexperienced compared to his older cousin, rumor has it that he will be Tommy's successor as the leader of Peaky Blinders. From being a fresh-faced accountant, Michael easily transitioned to a full-fledged gangster with two murders under his belt.

Despite being placed behind bars, Aunt Polly will remain in charge when season 4 airs. She is determined to straighten things out and improve the family business, and being in jail won't stop her from executing her plans.

BBC has yet to announce a premiere date for "Peaky Blinders" season 4, but the series is expected to return sometime in 2017.
