Pastor Saeed Abedini says he had vision of Trump as president

Iranian-American Pastor Saeed Abedini claimed that he received a prophetic vision of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump becoming the next president of the United States.
Abedini, who was imprisoned in Iran for three and a half years, said the vision came while he was in solitary confinement four years ago.
"I saw a young man with blue eyes, blond hair. I was sitting with him in a room. Someone told me, 'He's going to be the next president of the United States and you're going to be friends with him,'" Abedini told The Huffington Post.
The pastor stated that in 2015, he looked at the 19 candidates vying to be the next president but he was disappointed to find out that the young man in his vision was not on the list. But one night, while looking at Facebook posts, he saw a picture of a young man with blue eyes and blond hair who turned out to be Trump.
"Ohmygosh, this is the one that I saw in the dream!" he exclaimed. Abedini believes that the vision he received came from God and the reason that he saw a young Trump was because that was the age when God picked the real-estate developer to be president.
"Because you are not Christian, maybe this does not make sense for you. You need to just read the Bible," he said.
Abedini endorsed Trump in late October and revealed that the business magnate had given $10,000 to his family while he was still in prison.
"When Donald Trump supported me in prison, he wasn't even a candidate for president. Hillary Clinton didn't do anything, and she was the Secretary of the United States of America," the pastor wrote on Facebook.
Abedini said that Trump is not the default choice but he believes that the Republican candidate was ordained by God. The pastor spoke of his support for Trump's controversial policy proposals such as the wall on the U.S.-Mexican border and the ban on Muslims.
Trump was one of the people who called on the government to secure the pastor's release. Abedini's wife, Nagmeh, met with Trump in 2013 to thank him personally for his assistance.
