'Overwatch' patch 2016 news & update: Latest patch is now live

Blizzard Entertainment recently released the latest update for the team-based multiplayer first-person video game "Overwatch." The latest patch is now live on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The update featured a few important fixes. In particular, developers addressed the bug issue that prevented gamers from playing the Triple Kill announcement after a kill streak of three or more. The creators addressed the glitch in the game which gave players a higher skill rating than their actual rating.
Players have also complained about how the wrong arrow showed up on Hanzo's bow. Some players have also experienced disappearing arrows. Fans no longer need to worry about the glitch since the creators have already corrected the problem in the latest update.
Another bug that was fixed was the one preventing Junkrat's Rip-Tire from receiving credit, achievements. Furthermore, the developers have fixed the bug that was causing Reaper to Shadow Step to undesired locations in Hollywood.
Aside from the glitches and the bugs, the developers added a few features to the game. In particular, the creators added the Competitive Tier legends and a new Match Complete splash screen to replace Round Complete splash in competitive matches.
The patch was a relatively small update. However, Blizzard has more plans for the future.
Blizzard assistant game director Aaron Keller told PC Gamer that they are considering on adding a new game mode. "It's something that we're actively talking about," Keller revealed. Although he said they can't guarantee another game mode, they do want to create a mode that would bring the team together.
Keller revealed that in creating the title, they have experimented on various game modes. Most of the time, these would have multiple objectives. Towards the end, they realized that it could be difficult for the team to coordinate.
"We're still looking at new game modes but if and when we release a new game mode in the future, it will be about teams pushing on a single objective," Keller told the news outlet.
