'Outlander' season 2 spoilers news: Jamie's fatal duel and trouble with the law

Historical British-American drama "Outlander" will have an all-new episode this week, and viewers are in for some surprises like a fatal duel, a garden gathering and an unexpected arrest.

Before delving into what awaits viewers in episode 5, last week's episode "La Dame Blanche" featured Claire as she told Jamie about Randall. After knowing what transpired, the possible opportunity for revenge reinvigorates Jamie. Someone attempted to kill Claire, and her primary suspect is Comte St. Germain. In order to paint a bad image of Charles to Sandringham, she and Jamie organized a dinner party.

According to spoilers for episode 5, viewers will see the consequences following the events after the disastrous dinner party. The attack on Mary left her bruised, both emotionally and physically while most of the people in Claire and Jamie's event ended up in jail. Jamie and Murtagh were also arrested for taking part in the riot, and Alex Randall was formally accused of raping the woman very dear to him.

Even if the drama is still far from over, the socialization never stops. Jamie volunteered to help the Duke of Sandringham buy horses, so he comes to the King's manicured gardens with Jamie. While Jamie is busy showing off his equestrian prowess, Claire wanders around the garden where she sees a familiar face she doesn't want to see. Jamie encounters one of his adversaries and he challenges him to a duel which can be deadly for both of them. In the next episode, viewers will see if his arrogant decision will be worth the risk. Meanwhile, Jamie's right-hand man Murtagh remains bothered after the brawl because he feels responsible. As he suspects that Comte St. Germain might be involved with the gang, he uses his disappointment as fuel to seek revenge for the Frasers and Mary.

Viewers will see an all-new episode of "Outlander" season 2 titled "Untimely Resurrection" this coming Sunday, May 7 on Amazon Prime.
