'Orange is the New Black' season 4 spoilers: Laura Prepon dishes about Alex and Piper's relationship

One of the most-anticipated series this year, "Orange is the New Black" has been confirmed to premiere on June, with new twists and turns in the lives of the Litchfield ladies. Only two months away from the show's launch, actress Laura Prepon shared her thoughts about the show without giving away too much specifics. "The fourth season comes out June 17," she told Parade. "It's really exciting. The fans are going to love it. I think it's one of our best seasons yet. I can't give away any spoilers, but the way it was written, nothing is taboo for [show writer and creator] Jenji Kohan, We go there and push the envelope. It's just so awesome."

The third season left fans wondering if ex-lovers Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) and Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) will get back together, specially after Piper's short-lived romance with Stella Carlin (Ruby Rose). In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Prepon spoke about the two's on-and-off relationship, saying, "That's their relationship, and that's what's so interesting about them. They love each other and they hate each other, and it's frustrating and passionate, but there's definitely some vindication there, for sure. Piper thought she was crazy all season, but she wasn't."

Speaking of Stella, fans thought that Ruby Rose's addition to the cast spiced up last season's plot as she got in between the two inmates' relationship. However, her fate remains a mystery after Piper got her sent to max in the finale. Furthermore, she was not in the teaser trailer which makes viewers curious if she will be back this season. Popsugar recently caught up with Rose where she gave a rather vague response in terms of her participation in the series. "Well, as it stands right now, it could go either way. You probably know... they're currently filming in New York, and I'm not in New York right at this exact second. So we'll see. It could go either way," she said.

Netflix's "Orange is the New Black" season 4 is set to release all of its 24 episodes on June 7. The latest teaser can be viewed here.
