OnePlus 3 specs rumors 2016: Latest model similar to HTC 10; Boasts Snapdragon 820, USB Type-C port?

OnePlus has yet to unveil its new generation of smartphone design, although there is no stopping the online community from gathering reports and specs rumors over the internet. Recently, the allegedly leaked photos of the OnePlus 3 smartphone made rounds on the internet. Many gadget enthusiasts made an analysis of the leaked OnePlus 3 photos, and so far the apparent features of upcoming smartphone are quite impressive.

Phone Arena had a closer look at the two leaked OnePlus 3 model. If the source of the images is indeed legitimate, the new OnePlus phone may be sporting the same camera with that of Samsung Galaxy S6. However, with regards to the smartphone's overall design, it seems that OnePlus 3 will be sporting the HTC 10 look. The design of the phone's predecessors, OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, does not appear to have been adopted.

The exterior design of OnePlus 3 will be a bit classier compared to the first two flagship models as the phone will come with a sleek design, glass front, and black texture material at the back of the device. It also has a huge home button that is double the size of a fingerprint scanner. Also basing on the leaked photos, OnePlus 3 will be having its power button on the right side while the volume buttons will be on the left portion of the smartphone.

For the specs, OnePlus 3 is expected to be designed with new USB Type-C port. It will also have a 3.5-mm headphone jack. The smartphone will be sporting a 5-inch screen display with 1080-pixel maximum screen resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm. The phone will have a 16 MP main camera and a lower 8 MP for the front camera. There will be two variants of OnePlus 3, the base model having 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage while the premium one will have 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, Techno Buffalo reported.
