OnePlus 3 release date, specs rumors: New smartphone to be released Q2 or Q3 of 2016 with high-quality rear camera?
The OnePlus smartphone line has sported a few top-of-the-line gadgets over the past few years. The stage was set with the arrival of OnePlus One in the market, followed by a sophisticated design upgrade called OnePlus 2. Another product called OnePlus X has put the brand on the map as a highly competitive smartphone manufacturer. This year, the tech enthusiasts are waiting for the next stage of the brand with the anticipated OnePlus 3. There are no official details available on the internet today regarding the upcoming product, although there is no stopping the people from gathering more information.
MobiPicker reported that the new OnePlus design will hit the markets towards the second quarter or late third quarter of 2016. The estimated month of OnePlus 3 launching will be sometime in June or the second half of July. It should be noted, however, that OnePlus has not mentioned a time period for the release of their next device. The company has also not shared any news regarding the development of OnePlus 3, so it is not known how much is already finished in the production stage and all the dates surfacing online are just estimates.
The same report from MobiPicker also noted that the price of OnePlus 3 may only be just a few digits more expensive than OnePlus 2. The website has the estimate of the yet-to-be-released gadget at around $400.
The latest specs rumors for OnePlus 3 are not disappointing, with some reports claiming the upcoming smartphone will be released in two variants. The first OnePlus 3 version might be packaged with 4 GB of RAM, while the other one might be more impressive in terms of memory space with an impressive 6 GB of RAM. The internet storage of OnePlus 3 is expected to be at 64 GB. On the other hand, the screen feature of the smartphone will also be impressive with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen display. To add, OnePlus 3 is rumored to enable fingerprint sensing and pre-installed with the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
OnePlus 3 is also rumored to sport a 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front lens. Thanks to the allegedly leaked photos reported by Technobuffalo, people now have an idea how the camera quality was further improved. The leaked photo shows a close-up capture of a bundle of pink flowers. The details of the image are very prominent, assuming that the leaked photo is untouched by any graphics editing software. If the leaked photos verify, OnePlus 3 can now be included in today's list of smartphones with high-quality rear camera.
