Also, the reported specs of OnePlus 3 are impressive but its price is expected to be lower compared to the previous models.

It was reported by BGR that the OnePlus 3 will be released in two versions, but the difference between the two will not be that big. It is expected that the first variant or the base model will have a cheaper price compared to the more sophisticated second variant. The two OnePlus 3 models are reported to be released on May 18.

The major similarity of the two OnePlus 3 models, according to BGR, is that they will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. The two models are going to diverge in terms of their native storage and Random-Access Memory (RAM). The base model, according to the news website Yibada, will have a native storage amounting to 32 GB, and 4 GB of RAM. Powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset, the price of this OnePlus 3 model will be sold in the markets for 1,999 Yuan or $310. Meanwhile, the higher-end model is going to have 64 GB native storage, 6GB worth of RAM and powered by the same SD 820 microchip.

According to GizmoChina, the OnePlus 3 is poised to become a popular smartphone of choice of the people, sporting the most impressive and innovative specs features, as well as having an affordable retail price with $310. The same report also mentioned that OnePlus 3 may be a new huge competitor in the same market where Nexus, Samsung and HTC exists. This would be made more possible if the actual price of the gadget is actually not very expensive,

On the other hand, the camera feature of the OnePlus 3 is also expected to be terrific with the high-quality 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.

The same report from Yibada noted that while OnePlus itself has not confirmed an official release date of OnePlus 3, many tech followers are expecting that the upcoming smartphone model will be released on May 16. It is going to be followed by a market release a month after the event. Although there are also some reports according to CNET that the OnePlus 3 will be launched during the second quarter of 2016.
