'One Direction' news, updates: Harry Styles to debut in theater play, but not quite

The highly popular Britain-based pop group One Direction has entered a brief hiatus from making new songs and performing as a group, but some of them are still in the limelight, especially Harry Styles. The international pop icon is set to debut in an upcoming theater play to be staged in London, although it may not be what most of the followers of the group would expect.
According to a report from Now Magazine, popular playwright and theater actress Caitlin McEwan would be having her original stage play creation named simply as "Harry" on April 11 that will feature the huge fanbase of the One Direction vocalist and how the career of the young singer has affected their actions and the course of their own lives. Many fans of the popular band member are expected to flock in London to watch the play that involves their idol and their fanbase.
The play will narrate the story of two college students who are bound together by their love of the One Direction's Styles and how their obsession has brought a lot of changes to their lives.
One Direction followers, especially Styles' very loyal fans, may not be expecting the stage play to have a picturesque portrayal of their fanbase as there have been instances in the past where the media has been unfair in describing the group. It was reported in Metro UK that a 2013 documentary about One Direction fans has deemed the fanbase as "mindless" followers that are giving more importance to their idols than to their own selves. To defend the fandom against false judgment from other people, another One Direction member Liam Payne made a statement to clear the name of the huge fanbase. However, McEwan claimed in the same report that she is aware of both the positive and negative factors within the fandom and promised that she will balance out these sides in the play.
