'Once Upon A Time' season 6 release date, plot spoilers: Evil Queen attacks Charmings through their past

The arrival of Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) in "Once Upon A Time" season 6 will no doubt be a problem, but apart from Regina (Parilla) herself, it will be a huge issue for Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas).

"Snow's history with Regina comes back to haunt her and Charming as a plan set in motion years ago by the Evil Queen comes to dangerous fruition in present-day Storybrooke," co-showrunner Adam Horowitz told TVLine.

A photo of Snow that has to do with this "Once Upon A Time" season 6 revelation was also released. Although she was the focus of the photo, Regina as well as Charming was also seen in the background.

They appear to be examining a crash site of an airship, which could be the same one on leaked images from last month. It appears that Snow and Charming have something to do with it or someone important to them got involved in the crash.

Horowitz did not go into detail about this tease, but TVLine believes it has something to do with what Dallas teased about his character in "Once Upon A Time" season 6 during the San Diego Comic-Con.

He mentioned something about Charming learning that the things he "thought were truths in his life... maybe weren't so true." Unfortunately, this also is not crystal clear so fans will simply have to wait and see what the Evil Queen has in store for the Charmings in "Once Upon A Time" season 6.

The Evil Queen is all of Regina's wickedness materializing into a physical being. In an interview with TVOvermind, Horowitz and co-showrunner Edward Kitsis promised that the new season will explore why the royalty remains alive despite her heart being crushed.

"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
