"Once Upon A Time" season 6 debuts next month, and apart from the long list of new characters and the fact that the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) will be back, it now appears that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is set to discover a "life-altering" secret that may cause a ripple throughout Storybrooke.

"Emma learns a life-altering secret that could have serious consequences for her family and loved ones," the official season 6 logline from ABC reads.

In season 5, Emma and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) took the next step in their relationship and finally revealed their feelings for each other.

In a recent interview with Zap2It, "Once Upon A Time" showrunner, Eddie Kitsis, teased what's ahead for the couple, saying, "I think that we're going to see what happens when Emma tries to have a normal relationship moving forward."

"What happens when it's just like, let's get dinner and Netflix like people do," he added.

Meanwhile, "Galavant" alum Karen David has been tapped as Princess Jasmine for the upcoming sixth season of "Once Upon a Time," Entertainment Weekly has learned.

David's casting as Princess Jasmine in "Once Upon A Time" is an incredible case of wish fulfillment, given that the actress expressed her desire for just that more than a year ago.

During an "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit in 2015, the actress responded to a question about auditioning for "Once Upon A Time," saying, "I would love to be on the show! If they ever want Esmerelda, or Pocahontas, or Jasmine from Aladdin to come on, I'd LOVE to do it! xo."

EW notes that David's fans have also championed her wish to join the fantasy series on Twitter.

In season 6, David joins fellow newbies Deniz Akdeniz (Aladdin), Oded Fehr (Jafar), Craig Horner (the Count of Monte Cristo), and Giles Matthey (Morpheus).

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 debuts Sunday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
