'Once Upon a Time' season 6 air date, plot spoilers: Charming's backstory to be explored; Snow White fights Evil Queen

"Once Upon a Time" will delve deeper into Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming's (Josh Dallas) story arc when the hit fantasy drama returns for its much-awaited sixth season later this month.
Charming's journey to learn more about his past continues in season 6, and Snow will be by his side as they try to know more about his identity. Executive producer Adam Horowitz recently caught up with Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, and he confirmed that Charming's arc will be one of the highlights in the upcoming installment. "Charming has always had questions about his family and his father that he thought were answered," he said. "Charming's past becomes something very important to his future. We're going to see him and Snow embarking on some adventure related to that past, and what that's going to create for them moving forward, which is some unexpected obstacles to that happy ending they're all trying to live."
Meanwhile, the next season will also mark the return of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) to wreak havoc in Storybrooke. She was initially thought to be dead after her alter ego Regina (also played by Parilla) managed to separate from her but as TV Guide points out, the villainous queen is not after Regina. Instead, she is out to get even with Snow due to an old grudge she has on the princess. Horowitz told the media outlet that Snow must "get ready" for an impending fight because the Evil Queen is out for blood. It might not be easy for Snow, however, since she has spent so much effort and time to move past their feud.
Will Snow be up to the challenge of ending the Evil Queen's life once and for all? Will the impending battle affect Snow's relationship with Regina?
