NVIDIA Pascal release date, specs news: GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 expected to dominate the GPU market
Many fans are excited about the new addition of NVIDIA's impressive GPUs. According to reports the latest Pascal-based video cards from the company will be game changers once they hit the market. NVIDIA's GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 have been a hot topic on various forums and tech publications for the last couple of months. According to the latest reports, the GTX 1080 has reportedly been sold out minutes after the company opened the pre-order option.

TechTimes reported that 6 minutes into the start time of the pre-order on May 20, the GTX 1080 went out of stock. There are reports that even the online store of the company ran out of GTX 1080 GPUs. However, it did not surprise tech freaks because the impressive video card model has been promoted by various tech analysts as superior compared to other graphics cards.
Meanwhile, VideoCardz reported that the NVIDIA GTX 1070 performs slightly better than the GTX 980 Ti, GTX TITAN X and Fury X when all of them were tested during the 3DMark FireStrike bench test. The performance of GTX 1070 in terms of different resolutions such as 2160p, 1440p and 1080p was incredible. The test came back with 100 percent performance rating for the NVIDIA GTX 1070. According to the graphic's test result, the GPU card has a score of 17557 during the FireStrike Performance test, while getting a 4078 during the FireStrike Ultra test.
The average score of the GTX TITAN X is 97 percent average, while the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X and the GTX 980Ti both have 95 percent on the entire resolution test. On the other hand, the GTX 1080 got a whopping 124 percent average score.
The NVIDIA GTX 1070 has two variants – the standard model (US$379) and the Founders Edition) US$499. The NVIDIA GTX 1080 will be sold at a starting price of US$599. The premier model of the device will be priced at US$699. The GTX 1080 is already available in the market, while the GTX 1070 will hit the shelves on June 10.
