Tech freaks have already gotten the news earlier this year that Nvidia is going to release a new GPU this year. Since then, rumors have been circulating on the Internet about its specs and features. Although none of the rumors have been confirmed by the company, it did not stop people from speculating. At this time, new leak has emerged with regard to the new device's branding and specs.

Techfrag reported that the new GPU from Nvidia will be called as the X series. New line includes the GeForce X80, X80Ti and the X80 Titan, which is said to be the most powerful card in the list. This latest information has put more hype to the development of the new GPU as the company prepares for its release.

According to the tech news website, the X80 Titan will have a whopping memory of 8 GB with a 164-pixels-per-second pixel rate. It will also feature 6144 CUDA cores, 192 render output units; for its texture mapping units it will be 384 and a base clock of 1025 MHz for a total of 12.595 teraflops.

The GeForce X80 GPU is rumored to be taken from the GP104 configuration, which is also pretty powerful with 4096 CUDA cores. Its mapping units will be at 256, render outputs at 128, and an amazing base clock of 1000 MHz. The website also added that it will carry a 6 GB memory, along with its 128-pixels-per-second pixel rate.

The two other models in the line-up almost have the same features, according to Techfrag. If rumors prove to be true, this new lineup from Nvidia is definitely a game changer.

As of the moment, all fans can do is wait for further details that will surely be provided by the company before its big release in June of this year.
