NVIDIA is said to release a new Pascal-based GPU dubbed as GeForce GTX 1050 anytime soon. According to reports, although the new hardware is the company's entry in the low-end market, the upcoming desktop graphics card will complete NVIDIA's impressive Pascal-based GPU lineup. Now, details about its specs and features have recently been leaked online giving fans the idea on what to expect once the unit hits the market.

The Chinese benchmarking site, Benchlife, has recently leaked significant details of the GPU. According to the website, the GTX 1050 is expected to run with a 1316MHz clock speed. If rumors prove to be true, the NVIDIA GTX 1050 is expected to come out as the cheapest of all the Pascal-based GPU in the market. As of today, the cheapest one is the GTX 1060. According to Tech Radar, the GeForce GTX 1060 has a 3 GB of memory onboard, which is currently being sold in the market with a starting price of $299. However, other online retailers have a different price tag for the Pascal based-GPU at $315.

Meanwhile, according to a report by Kotako, while NVIDIA has been trying to come up with the best high-end graphics card, its greatest competitor, AMD, has been targeting consumers who are not willing to spend more than $500 for a desktop graphics card. However, with the upcoming release of GeForce GTX 1050, it will be interesting how it will par with AMD's RX 460, which is currently dominating the entry-level market today.
