The GTX 1070 GPU is already introduced to Nvidia fans. It has surprised everyone with its specs and features. The device is considered as the video card that can easily beat the mighty GeForce GTX TITAN X at a very low price of $379. Now, the expectations from many fans to the upcoming GTX 1080 are pretty high. With the huge price difference between the two GTX video cards, tech observers expect a big difference in power and efficiency among them.

According to a report by Tech Radar, The GTX 1080 is a superior GPU that is expected to dominate the market pretty soon. It is said to carry a 30-percent performance increase from its predecessor. Aside from its unbelievable performance, the device is also said to help reduce power consumption by 28 percent.

Meanwhile, the GeForce GTX 1070, which is scheduled to be released on June 10, has the same Pascal architecture as the GTX 1080. It has the 8 GB GDDR5 RAM and 15 streaming microprocessors, which is a little less compared to the 20 streaming multiprocessors of GTX 1080.

The GTX 1080 is said to be released on May 27, which is earlier than the release of GTX 1070. For gamers who could not afford the costly price of GTX 1080, they can always get the cheaper GTX 1070.

In a report by PC Advisor, The upcoming GTX 1080 will be sold in the UK for £619 or $898, which more expensive than its US SRP. Many European GTX followers are disappointed with the price difference; however, they are positive that the powerful GPU will live up to its expectation.
