One of the most-anticipated games of recent years, "No Man's Sky" will finally be released on June 21 of this year.

"No Man's Sky" will give fans a massive universe and unpredictable gameplay, thanks to its procedural generation system. Sean Murray of Hello Games conducted a demo during last year's New Yorker Festival in Manhattan, as reported by Observer. Similar to Minecraft, "No Man's Sky" enables the computer to generate its own planets via stock data. Along with Sony's extensive support for Hello Games, "No Man's Sky" will also have a Play Station 4 version.

With the trend of games tieing-up with VR headsets, The Bitbag reports that "No Man's Sky" will hop on the bandwagon as well. Murray somehow confirmed it in an interview with GameSpot earlier this month, saying, "I think that No Man's Sky, which is this infinite computer generated universe, and PlayStation VR, which is a headset that you put on and enter a VR space is like, it's like you've asked me when I was five what the future would look like." Despite his enthusiasm, Murray stopped himself from divulging too much details about a probably VR integration in the interview. "That's as far as I can comment," he concluded.

To further satisfy the space-based game's fans, I Am 8-Bit will collaborate with Hello Games to launch a "No Man's Sky" collection merchandise line. It will feature special editions of the game as well, including one called Explorer's Edition. The said edition for hardcore collectors is worth $150 dollars apiece, and comes with a hand-painted ship replica, as reported by Wired.

"No Man's Sky" will be available on June 21 in North America for PS4 and PC, with the Oculus Rift and Play Station VR as headsets for the game. Meanwhile, the UK release is scheduled for June 24.
