Nintendo Switch release date and rumors: Device will run 4K resolution?

It's been a year since Nintendo announced the release of their new console/hand-held device hybrid, the Nintendo NX, but no official news has come out — until now. Nintendo has just launched a trailer for the device, officially called the Nintendo Switch, and it will be coming to the market in March 2017.
The trailer runs for four minutes and it showcases the different options that users have when playing the Nintendo Switch. They could either connect it to a TV or bring the device out to play anywhere.
Rumors suggest that Nintendo will be releasing the NX as a sort of remedy to the failed launch of the Wii U. Some even speculate that Nintendo will be allowing the device to play games at 4K resolution — something that their competitors at Sony and Microsoft are planning to attempt with the updated PS4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio, respectively — but it's very unlikely.
Nintendo consoles have always been the more underpowered ones in the bunch. It runs on the Tegra K1 chip which would have problems playing games at 4K resolution, but it will still be able to stream 4K content from Netflix. It will also come with a 1080p resolution screen which the Tegra can power easily.
As for the games that fans can expect, there is already news that they can play "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The "Zelda" franchise has always had deep roots with Nintendo, breaking barriers with the pop-culture phenomenon "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time."
Ubisoft has expressed interest to release some games for the console back in the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and they said that games like "Just Dance" will be available with the NX for launch. "Final Fantasy" developers from Square Enix have also said that they are interested in making games for the NX, but no official announcements have been released.
With the internet rife with memes about the "Console vs. PC Wars," fans are only wondering just where the Nintendo NX will fit into the argument. Will Nintendo bring another revolutionary console or will it disappear into obscurity?
The Nintendo Switch is to be released in March 2017.
