Although both companies have yet to confirm these reports, rumor has it that the upcoming consoles will be launched in 2017. Another device that is about to set their mark in the battle of next generation consoles is the Nintendo NX. According to Value Walk, the upcoming Nintendo NX is a hybrid device.

There are speculations suggesting that the Japanese gaming manufacturer may consider developing a handheld console hybrid. Apparently, the company wants to merge the two markets by developing a device many players will enjoy. There is a big possibility that the highly anticipated Nintendo NX will compete against Sony's, PlayStation 4.5 NEO.

Meanwhile, despite the scarcity of information coming from the company with regard to their future releases, many fans already have a prediction of what they are going to expect once the Nintendo NX hits the market. According to some fans, the upcoming console will run on a highly superior graphics technology and processor. There are also rumors that the device will be more powerful than the current PlayStation 4. It is said to have backward compatibility features, which is good news for game developers.

According to Yibada, the device is expected to come out later this year; however, there are also rumors saying that the next generation console may not be released until next year. Apparently, Nintendo plans to release the device alongside the highly anticipated game title, "The Legend of Zelda."
