Nintendo NX release date news update: Ubisoft CEO praises new Nintendo console

Nintendo has yet to reveal the latest NX console. However, Ubisoft has been nothing but supportive and full of praise about the forthcoming console.
Video game developer Ubisoft has long since been partners with Nintendo. CEO Yves Guillemot recently spoke up about their support for the brand new console and his thoughts on it.
In a Ubisoft presentation, Guillemot talked about the recent advances in technology — the brand new Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 systems, the NX and the Virtual Reality feature.
The CEO stated, "The new Nintendo is a fantastic machine. It's really a new approach. It's really Nintendo, coming with something new again. We love it."
GameSpot was able to interview Guillemot after the event. When asked about why the company has put so much faith in Nintendo, he said, "What we see is, players are more open when new hardware is coming. So we have the chance to come with something we have never done before, because we know that if we are the first there, people will try our game and maybe we'll be able to get into that new genre."
According to reports, the NX is a hand-held/console hybrid which will reportedly include a TV component. Rumors suggested that the device will have a dual screen feature produced by Wii U. Furthermore, the console will have interchangeable parts.
Sources said that the company is expected to create brand new games for Nintendo's new system. This was backed up by Guillemot, who revealed that the Ubisoft is currently developing new projects for the console aside from "Just Dance." Pokemon is rumored to be one of the titles.
Nintendo's NX is expected to launch by the end of March 2017.
