Nintendo NX release date news 2016: Upcoming console affected by Brexit; Might be further delayed

It appears that the ongoing Brexit crisis in the European and global community is not just affecting the individual market stocks of different countries. In the case of the anticipated release of Nintendo's next powerful home console, the crisis is also impinging the development of the project. Nintendo's president himself confirmed that the Brexit crisis seemingly confined in the European Union (EU) also has some effects on the Japanese-based electronic gaming company.
Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima revealed during the company's 76th annual general shareholders meeting that Britain's move to leave the European Union will affect the Nintendo firm stationed in the United Kingdom, Nintendo website reported. The UK-based firm is important for Nintendo in general because it is the one selling the company's goods. As the company will be affected by Brexit, Nintendo's future projects might also be delayed. One of Nintendo's projects in danger of getting further delayed is Nintendo NX.
Nintendo stated that it is originally aiming for March 2017 release of their next home console, poised as a worthy rival of Sony's PlayStation Neo and Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio. However, the Brexit crisis is definitely not a good sign if Nintendo wanted to launch their upcoming gadget on time. Still, Kimishima said that Nintendo will be trying its best to release NX according to the company's plans, although added effort must be applied.
As Nintendo UK is following the European Union's rulings about the tax system, information privacy and product safety standards, the Brexit may be imposing a new set of policies for the company that will cause further delay in their current projects. Nintendo is hopeful that the new rules will not cause problems for the company in general as they keep track of the results of the said crisis. When everything is cleared up, then the company will be planning its next move for NX accordingly.
