Nintendo NX image leak news, specs rumors: Forum member posted the NX's official controller?
Nintendo's rumored new console, the Nintendo NX is not short of speculations. Ever since the rumor started, the Internet has been talking about the new device. A new speculation has recently emerged that showed the image of a device, in which a source said is a Nintendo NX's official controller.
The information came from a certain Reddit user driss2Dev, who claimed that he took the photo himself when his colleague showed it to him. The said colleague is allegedly working with Nintendo's latest project. The photo was posted three days ago and video gamers did not waste time to share it to everybody else, making the news viral amongst the video game community.
The company has yet to provide any official statement regarding the development of the rumored console, much less comment about the new leaked image.
The controller image that was posted definitely looks different from what gamers are used to with the past and current consoles. If there is any weight to this new rumor, Nintendo could be using a different approach in making this new device. The only question is if the video game market is ready for something totally different.
Meanwhile, some forum members have shown their dismay through comments about the new console. Some called it ugly and lame, while others think that the image is a sham.
"It looks too ugly and uncomfortable even for the crazy Nintendo of recent years. If its real Nintendo has finally lost it," says one forum member.
"It looks like a desperate attempt to pander to the smartphone players and a big 'f*** you' to traditional console gamers," suggests another former. "I think it's fake though, the tablet WiiU controller was a failure and this looks like taking that idea one step further."
The rumor must be taken with a grain of salt. As of the moment, what fans can do is to wait for Nintendo to release an official statement with regard to any information related to the NX.
