Nintendo NES release date news 2016: Comeback console features 30 classic games

Many people were surprised when Nintendo announced earlier this week that they will be rereleasing the popular console, NES. The company will launch the mini version of the device in November including classic games such as "The Legend of Zelda," "Super Mario Bros. 1-3" and "Donkey Kong."
Unfortunately, the Japanese multinational consumer electronics and software company has also announced that the console will not be able to connect to the internet and could not be loaded with additional games.
In an interview with Kotaku, a representative from Nintendo confirmed that the NES is a standalone device, which does not have the capability to connect to the Internet. The device could not be loaded with more games because it does not have the option for external storage.
Nonetheless, Nintendo promises to put games that are appealing to the players.
"The console is a standalone device, so it cannot connect to the internet or any external storage devices. The game lineup was chosen to provide a diverse mix of popular and recognizable NES games that appeal to a wide variety of players," said Nintendo. "Everyone should be able to find multiple games to enjoy."
Nintendo did not shoot down the possibility that the company might rerelease other classic gaming systems like the mini-SNES or mini-N64.
Meanwhile, Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President and COO, said that the goal of the company is to give fans the opportunity to revisit and rediscover the popular games they used to love back in the days.
The device will officially come out on November 11 for $60. Users who would like to get more controllers will have to pay $10 extra for each accessory.
